The Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU) International Relations and Study Centre Coordinators Rūta Antanaitienė and Laima Dobilienė presented studies at a higher education fair, organised the entrance examination, met with the representatives of agency "Medizin-Studium-Ausland (MSA)" and met the LSMU graduate in Bremen and Hamburg (Germany) in Febreuray.
Medicine, Odontology and Veterinary Medicine studies attracted the most attention at the international higher education fair. Visitors of the fair were also interested in the program Health Psychology which is going to be started from the next study year. It is nice to admit, that the LSMU Veterinary Medicine Faculty student Inga Willigmann and the LSMU Odontology Faculty graduate Angela Haack also participated in the fair. The LSMU student Inga Willigmann is LSMU Ambassador and has been participating in the LSMU Ambassador programme since the beginning of the 2018. The LSMU Ambassador Programme seeks to involve international students into a voluntary activity aiming at promotion of the LSMU in foreign countries. The LSMU alumna Angela Haack graduated from the LSMU in 2018, works as a dentist in a clinic in Düsseldorf and is happy with her professional activity. The University representatives provided detailed information about the studies to all the interested while the student and the graduate kindly shared their impressions about studies with the young people and their parents.
The LSMU representatives met the applicants to the LSMU study programmes and presented the University and students' life to them. Applicants from various German cities took the entrance test from biology and chemistry and had motivational interviews. 5 prospective students successfully passed the examination and were offered to study medicine, odontology and veterinary medicine at the LSMU.
