Entrance Examinations to LSMU in Israel

LSMU international alumni
On 5-7 July in Tel Aviv, Rūta Antanaitienė and Laima Dobilienė, international programme coordinators of the International Relations and Study Centre, Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU), organised entrance examinations to study programs in English.
LSMU in Israel collaborates with agencies (M.D. International Studies LTD, Overseas Medical Education College, ELOR – Medical Services and Rehabilitation), which invite young people to study at LSMU. A total of 34 applicants invited by agencies and 3 individually registered candidates sat the entrance examination.
As many as 22 applicants successfully passed the examination and were offered to study at LSMU Medicine, Odontology, Pharmacy and Veterinary Medicine programmes.
It is worth noting that current students or alumni recommend the studies at LSMU. The representatives of the University were pleased to meet 3 students who are currently studying at LSMU and came together with their close people to the examination.
The presentations about LSMU were held after the examinations, where prospective students were introduced to the structure of the University, study programmes and students’ life. We are glad that on 6 July University’s graduates Boris Abayev and Sami Moradian helped to present the University. They shared their experience and gave their opinion about studies in Lithuania and willingly answered the questions.
During the visit to Israel, the University’s representatives met University’s graduates and discussed the possibilities of collaboration. Alumnus Daniel Raif graduated from the Medical Faculty in 2010 and is currently enrolled on the residency programme at Tirat Carmel Mental Health Center in Israel. Alumni Sami Moradian and Boris Abayev graduated from the Faculty of Odontology and currently work as doctors odontologists at Israeli medical institutions. The alumni are happy with their choice to study at LSMU and current professional activities. We are glad that Daniel Raif and Boris Abayev agreed to be LSMU representatives to whom all those interested in the studies at the University will be able to refer.
