Mr. Ali Hassan Khalifeh

Seven years have passed since the last time when I packed my bag returning to my home country Lebanon after I had spent six years in my second country Lithuania studying dentistry.

Although I was happy returning home to start a new life and face challenges, but I was also very sad leaving Lithuania, the country where I had spent the most beautiful moments ever.

Starting a new life in Lebanon was not so easy but I had a strong base in dentistry due to the hard work in my studies at Kaunas University of Medicine and also due to the help from qualified doctors which I received while studying.

The first challenge was passing a state exam in Lebanon which was my main goal in order to start practicing dentistry. Luckily I passed a state exam easily and then I started making future plans. In the beginning I practiced in a big policlinic for one year and at the same time continued studying aesthetic and implant dentistry. On 1st November, 2009 my dream came true, I opened my own dental policlinic consisting of three dental units, which offer different kinds of dental treatment.

Thanks to the great experience which I gained during my studies at Kaunas University of Medicine and thanks to hard training and continuous education my present work is improving every year. My other dream was to create my own family. Indeed, I got married and now I have a daughter Tia.

In the end, I would like to thank Lithuania and Kaunas University of Medicine for the wonderful experience and the received knowledge due to a well-based odontology program. Besides, I would like to thank Prof Gediminas Žekonis, prof. Gintaras Joudžbalis, prof. Ričardas Kubilius for assisting me during my academic years.

Thank you, Lithuania, for the beautiful time I spent and for the opportunity to discover new traditions, culture and language.
